Mission Statement

The mission of the Washington County Agricultural Society is to be a premier venue for agricultural, exhibition, entertainment, cultural and educational uses for the purposes of enhancing the economic and social benefits to the residents and visitors of Washington County and the St. Paul/Minneapolis area. Of primary importance is the staging of the annual Washington County Fair that showcases agriculture, commerce and industry of the County and provides quality educational and family-oriented entertainment opportunities for its patrons.

The Fairgrounds will be supported by the highest quality management and staff who seek to provide quality facilities and “value-added” services to the Fairground’s visitors and customers and who are dedicated to continuously improve facilities and operation performances.

Fairgrounds Ownership

The Washington County Fairgrounds is owned and operated by the Washington County Agricultural Society (WCAS). The fairgrounds is NOT owned by the county, city or township. The WCAS is a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) with the primary purpose to plan and hold the annual Washington County Fair.

The board of the WCAS is made up of volunteers. It is our goal to create a memorable, safe, and fun event that appeals to families and individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
